ISO 9001:2000 is an international standard that gives
requirements for an organization’s Quality Management
System (“QMS”). It is part of a family
of standards published by the International Organization
for Standardization (“ISO”) often referred
to collectively as the “ISO 9000 series”.
The ISO 9000 family is primarily
concerned with "quality management".
The objective of ISO 9001:2000 is to provide a set
of requirements that, when effectively implemented,
provides the customers with the confidence that their
supplier can consistently provide goods and services
that meet or exceed customer’s expectations
and comply with applicable regulations.
Scintel has established a systematic approach to
quality management, the Scintel Quality Management
(SQM) that is a part of its core methodology (SPMM),
and is managing its business to ensure that the customers’
needs are clearly understood, agreed and fulfilled.
The ISO 9001:2000 certified quality procedures are
ingrained in the SQM program that positions Scintel
to achieve its quality objectives.
